A New Visitor

I put one coat of paint on the walls of my spare bedroom this morning, with the second planned for this afternoon (only 3 walls). Taking a break at lunchtime I spotted a new visitor in the garden having a dig around in the grass. It was lovely to see him and so close, I've often heard him. So a blip photo taken, edited and posted plus half the decorating by 12:30 - feeling smug :)

Tip No.9  If you cope with the boiler and the fires, always keep a pair of loose work-gloves draped over the shovel, and put them on. Keep a pair of your husband's old glove discards by dustpans and brooms. Before you tackle any dirty job, put a layer of lanolin cream all over your hands, then put on your gloves. Keep a bottle of hand lotion by the sink. Hands protected in these ways never show the scars of housework.
