Gannet

I have back blipped yesterday's

We parted company with the families this morning.  
I was very keen to go to the Gannet Colony on Cape Kidnappers.  Doug and I took a tour with 6 others and off we went, through rugged country to the point.  Our small group were the only ones there along with thousands of birds.  Awesome experience, and I took heaps and heaps of pictures.  I randomly chose this one and wified from camera to phone.  
A superb experience, not only seeing the gannets but the trip as well. Loved the landscapes as we meandered along the four wheel tracks. The commentary was brilliant, learnt so much.
Clear blue skies made for difficult photography, but I'm happy.  The trip took three hours.
We then joined the family at Splash Planet Fun Park in Hastings.  Wow, this is an amazing place, seething with families enjoying the numerous slides and water activities. Very very hot !
Home for some quieter times....swims, played cards, cricket on the huge lawns and take away pizza's for dinner.
