Throwing buns!

I met a dear friend here for coffee, I went back later to take a picture and a lovely gentleman explained where the name came from - throwing things Is a tradition in Abingdon,the mayor and other figures of authority throw fruit buns to the populous from the roof of the county hall, this dates back to 1760. Today they serve lovely coffee xx
