A wet muddy walk

Went a little off track today, snow falling, ankle deep in mud, climbing over fallen trees, scrambling up steep banks, luckily we were well dressed for it with our walking boots and waterproof over trousers. We finished in the little coffee shop with toasted tea cakes and coffee by a roaring log burner. Lovely!!
