Very calm today. Clear skies and cold.

I went down to Kirkcaldy Harbour to watch a cargo ship squeeze in to deliver grain to Carr's Hutchisons Mill. The pilots are very skillful and rarely damage either the ship or the harbour furnishings.

This was the view outside the harbour looking towards Edinburgh.
