That's 7 for let notices in a run of 13 buildings... And one of those is a guest house! Still, two of the estate agent have smugly slapped up "Let" stickers almost bigger than the signs.

The one ray of hope for architects - the huge amount of fit-outs on the go! Since NAMA doesn't give a toss about the developers' business plans, they're taking pretty much any rent you offer them. So there's a lot of companies on the move, and a lot of these smaller buildings now coming up for let as the tenants move on.

Time was, a townhouse like that - with tenant, and no mews - would go for E3-4million. One on the opposite side of the street is going in a reposession auction - with the mews attached - for a 900k guide price! If you've got the sponds, it's a buyer's market...
