A Day At A Time.

Pinar Del Rey

We met up with Jacqui's son Lloyd and a couple of other friends to walk our collection of five dogs in the beautiful pine forests nearby. You can see Gibraltar is not far away.

There is a large transmission station just outside the forest and so there are armies of pylons marching in all directions across the countryside.

It was lovely to walk for 8 km around the forests in the peace and quiet of the countryside, with just the sound of happy, playing dogs.

And the humming of the power transformers.

And the jingle of the ice cream van.

And the hordes of Spanish having bbqs and picnics with their loud music and shouting.

Still, it was lovely all the same.
