A Ray of Light in the Winter Forest

And then, once in a great while, you get a winter day like this one: a warming trend, with temperatures heading above freezing, and sunny, with clear blue skies. My husband and I set out for our local gameland, and what I found there was this: a winter morning's ray of light, separated into a rainbow of colors; and trees casting blue shadows on the snow.
