The Best Laid Plans .........

When I got up early today (for a change!) I rushed to take some pictures from my kitchen window of the sun just hitting the tops of the trees and giving a touch of pink to the sky. It was beautiful and I took 4 shots to be on the safe side.

However, I had a busy day and didn't get a chance to upload them to my laptop until a few minutes ago. Quelle horreur!! Every single one of them had the reflection of my swan-neck kitchen tap in the window, completely ruining the picture.

So I give you instead a souvenir of my recent holiday in Ayrshire. It's a most unusual shaped pot from the Peinn Mor Gallery and I love the colours as well as the design.
