Note to self.

Try to avoid Books.
1. Far too many of them around.
2. Entails at least ONE "extra". In this case two, since "Frontispiece" shows no date.
I remember Mam mentioning a "Sanderson" in association with Grandfather Berwick; I think one was town Surveyor & t'other Town Clerk; however, I've no recollection of a Sandwith. I do, however, remember Mam was an inveterate picker-up of "things" at Jumble, Rummage & Bring & Buy sales. 
It was so inbuilt that she continued to collect old clothes to make "Proddy" & "Hooky" Rugs, long after she had the physical ability so to do; or, for that matter, after we needed any.
