Treacherous

Treacherous conditions underfoot. Yesterday warmed up just enough for the snow to melt and then dropped immediately afterwards, creating a sheet of ice on all the paths. Wasn’t too bad over the mud but was utterly horrendous on the tarmac sections.

Also horrendous was last night’s attempt to leave Jaffa to sleep on her own. She cried and barked endlessly and tried to jump the gate out of the kitchen. Eventually, at 3am, I gave up and slept in the kitchen again. And Peace reigned once more. Sigh.
