Male Blackbird

Well my Blackbird colony don't seem to venture very far these days?
  Today I had eight.5 Male and 3 female.
I suspect they are of one family as they are very tolerant of one another.
   They have eaten most of the apples now,And have been spending more time on the ground under the Meal Worm feeders.They seem to have a taste for the ones that the Starlings drop?
