On a cold and frosty morning.....

Leeds Castle looked even more beautiful this morning! This was just before 9 am as we arrived. The early golfers were out and seemed not a bit bothered by the very low temperatures.

I was meeting fellow blipper Lala  in the Estate Office. She is responsible for the Education Centre at the castle and together with the HR Assistant we talked over a few things....Very helpful. 

After a coffee together with Helen, D and I had a very enjoyable couple of hours touring the castle again, this time with the audio guide. WHY we haven't used this before I do not know. The information in the rooms and written guides provide a wealth of fascinating information, but the audio guide made a huge difference. Every guide in each room knew so much too and we chatted happily with them. 

The George in Leeds village was the perfect place to have lunch and the journey home was smooth, easy and in beautiful sunshine.
