Noisy office

There has been banging on our office roof all week. We are on the top floor and have had problems with leaking windows and even through the ceiling tiles for several years now. So at last they are now being fixed. The builders have been working on the roof all week, and today the first two windows were replaced. Mark had to temporarily move desks, while the man you see leaning in through the 5th floor window, did his stuff.

Mollie came in to Norwich with me. She started at Boots and got a few great bargains. They were flying off the shelves, she said, so she grabbed what she could. Then she went off and did more shopping after leaving several bags with me!

At lunchtime James, Mollie & I went to The Mustard Cafe, just next to the Sue Ryder shop in Bridewell Alley. We had tea in proper bone china tea cups and saucers, and home made coconut and lemon cake (I think) definitely coconut anyway. We chose it because it was the biggest! It was James's birthday Wednesday, so cake had to be eaten at some point.

Home at 4 via Aldi. It had been planned. A successful shop which was definitely cheaper than any other shops I have used. I got practically everything I wanted, and there was a lot of choice. I wish there was an Aldi near us. We were home by 6.15 and as the shopping is now done, I have the evening free. Mum and dad are here too. A flying visit I expect. The boys have gone to scouts now so Mollie and I will go next door and catch up.

As always, I am so looking forward to the weekend.
