Friends and Folly's

We were delighted to share tea and cake with our friends (and fellow blippers), N & C today.

We walked into town and went to the pretty Folly Tea Rooms.  There was a vast array of home made cakes to choose from, accompanied by a glass of champagne (although I had a non-alcoholic but delicious strawberry and rhubarb sparkling drink), followed by coffee/tea.  It’s by far the prettiest tea room in Holt, beautifully decorated, it also has a fab walled garden where it’s wonderful to sit and enjoy the sunshine at a more temperate time of the year.  The teapots wear hand-knitted cosies and all the teacups and plates are vintage, it’s all very traditional, as you can see from my blip.
We had a great catch-up and chat over our tea and the time just flew by, what a lovely way to while away an hour in a most civilised fashion.
