From Balgay Hill

Had to take the car for its first service and decided to run back home by a roundabout route that included going up and round Balgay Hill (and a slight detour for the view - our house is in it somewhere).
Down at the bottom of the hill it started snowing and continued for the next 4 miles, the extra is running along an old railway line where is was a bit sheltered. It did stop so I extended the run a bit and managed 9 miles - by which time the sun was coming out.
Then marmalade making and some crochet while Mr Rat ran back to the garage (the direct route) to collect the car.
