High White Scar

Back to the Dr's this morning, after 5 days there's been v little response to the original antibiotics so he's prescribed something new.
He also ordered a chest x-ray which could be done same day at Kendal Hospital. As I've hardly left the house for a week I took the scenic route via the Mallerstang valley.
Much of the snow has gone already (though it does appear to have been quite sporadic; Kendal had none) but the covering that was left emphasised the wild nature of these seldom visited hills. Crags, Scars and Gullies merge with long plateau type tops, the topography at once complex and beautiful.
