Vanilla Banana Coconut Sorbet Gelato

Back in June Tom got an ice-cream maker for Father's Day. You know how it is with these sort of gadgets, you think "Let's make some ice cream" then you discover that the bowl needs to spend 24 hours in the freezer before you can use it :(

So you forget about it.

Today Tom decided that after 4 months in the freezer, the bowl should be cold enough. He planned to use coconut milk rather than cream and milk and then discovered that we didn't have enough vanilla essence so thought banana essence would be just as good and then threw in some desicated coconut .... sounding appetising yet????

We had the "Vanilla Banana Coconut Sorbet Gelato" for dessert. Oddly enough it tasted of oranges!!!!
