Looking for light

As the darkest of clouds hang over our family at present, I went to my favourite Woodland Trust Reserve.

It was icy underfoot and thankfully quiet but there was a freezing beauty.

But......there will be butterflies, glorious birds and the wildflower meadow as the spring and summer arrive.
