Poor kid!!

I blipped the cutest new-born  Baby goat on Dec 22nd.
Last night, she fell into the freezing cold river.
Himself netted her, and pulled her out. 
‘Hard to do’, he said, ‘she was tired and failing, and her head was going under.’
 I ran down with towels, and we swaddled and rubbed her until the violent shiver-trembles calmed. We let her sleep awhile in a towel-lined box before reuniting her with her mum,  for a warm, milky drink. 
 And after all that, while she was suckling, her twin brother followed his instinct and tried to play piggyback! 
What a night she had!!
Happy to report all is well this morning.
