A LITTLE TREASURE....

... love the Lifestyle TV stuff, and one of my fav shows is Antique Road Trip. Had to record it last week and caught up with it today staying inside out of the 42 Deg C day.....

This show apparently was recorded last year I think in September, the presenter found this superb 1861 camera  invented by Adolphe Bertsch.

As you can see from the collage of shots I took from TV he picked it up for a small sum of 60 pounds knowing it could be something quite special!

Sure was, after some strong bidding from over 5 bidders it sold for 20,000 pounds.

Photography technology has come a long way, but I reckon this is a special part of it.
