Chicken saddle

Had a message from daughter no. 1 (the hen guardian) - could I make a chicken saddle for her new bantam? I asked Google to look for information, and found out that saddles are used to protect hens if they get a bare spot from pecking by the rooster or other hens in the flock.  There were plenty of patterns, so I just had to choose one and get on with the job. Here is the finished item, with a toy albatross acting as the model.
