Sock It

It is perhaps a sign of being in January that the highlight of my day was receiving this box of new socks! They are made from bamboo so are lovely and soft. Aside from this my day consisted of a team meeting, lots of emailing and editing a paper.

I've had homemade leek and potato soup for dinner - made by Andy and using the last of the leeks grown at the allotment. Next we will move onto the parsnips!

Tonight I shall continue with my January 'projects' - learning to knit and reading the many unread books on my bookshelf!
