January in the garden

The sign is bright, but not enough to do much melting of the skiff of snow we got yesterday. It's supposed to be getting warmer, but we had our handyman in today to add some weather stripping to some outside doors. An old house is very drafty no matter how hard ones tries to seal it up, but he made some improvements today. He also re-installed a new mailbox bracket. The bracket snapped in the extreme cold and snow these past weeks. Luckily the box survived somehow when the bracket let go.
