Today I didn't see a reindeer either

These reindeer must be a pretty familiar sight to anyone who has been to Rovaniemi airport. A wee farewell blip after our partially successful trip to Lapland. Lecture: tick. Wandering in the snow: tick. Aurora: no tick. Oh well. Perhaps another time. We need to give this more thought.

Back to familiar territory again after an only slightly delayed flight. The delay was down to snow in Helsinki. We think they have better infrastructure than we have and it's true. But even Helsinki tends to grind to a halt when there is too much demand placed upon the de-icing equipment (apparently they haven't invested in enough of it) and also when there are sidewinds (not sure if that applied today).

Back at the towers, they've even sorted out the wifi in the flat after I made a bit of a fuss. That has made the large quantities of administration I've been addressing this afternoon and evening go rather more smoothly. Thank goodness.
