Abstract Thursday _ Mystery Object.

Ingeborg has asked us to photograph an everyday object in a way that disguises it.  Can anybody guess what this is.  I have faded the edge and the colour a bit, but apart from that it is straight out of camera.  All will be revealed tomorrow.
P.S.  I was so excited by my first Teal yesterday that I got a bit carried away.  The green head convinced me it was a Teal.  A bit more research has proved that I misidentified it,  They were a pair of Shovellers.  Wrong duck, but still a first sighting.
