the beautiful and unusual berry of the Spindle tree, (Euonymus europaeus ) - the flower-like lobed fruit opens to reveal the bright orange seed inside.

It was a bright and beautiful morning again but the rain has come in this afternoon. I was caught up all morning and missed the light but a twenty minute break in the rain let me get outside and get this.
This is another favourite, a native tree/shrub with great autumn colour too.
