I really like wasps - I cant understand why some people get so angry about them.
There I was quietly reading a novel on the beach and suddenly one eye went black.
One of them was on the inside of my glasses, waving its proboscis at my pupil. I flung onto the sand and then of course couldnt see anything without them, but somehow managed to blip its evil bottom.
Last year I gave the young treehouses a lecture for hurting the nice wasps with their tennis raquets. Shortly after this one dive bombed me when I was cycling through Edinburgh and gave me a large injection on top of the head. I nearly fainted in the art shop.
Do they not know I am their only friend?
