On Home Turf
We had some jobs to complete in York this afternoon. Jet needed a walk so we popped along to York Racecourse to give him some exercise. I grew up in this area of York. I went to Knavesmire school (now the Law College) and the racecourse was the area used for our cross country runs. Behind the grandstand is the old Terry’s chocolate factory where I spent the summer holidays earning cash whilst I was teacher training.
It was very busy with dog walkers...see extra. It was also very cold with little shelter from a bitterly cold wind. I was glad to get back to the car with the heating turned up.
Thank you for the reaction to my itchy sheep from yesterday.
