Fancy top knot!

The weather conditions were a bit better this morning so after my tea and toast I set off down the hill to retrieve my car from the Health Centre car park.

The snow had disappeared from the trees but there was still plenty underfoot. This Skimmia bush was glistening in the morning light as the snow continued to melt leaving this wee icy crown on top of the berries.

The main roads being fairly clear I was able to go up to Sainsbury's to replenish my supply of salt .... just in case! The car park retained a good quantity of snow and was looking very picturesque in the sun.  The beech hedge was reluctant to let go of its snowy covering.
