Because this is who I am

6 Months

Can you even believe tomorrow I have been in Manchester for 6 months?!?! That is just absolutely mad!

I just thought I’d reflect on things I’ve learnt since living here, and also living with a boy.

1. It’s easier to cook for two than it is for one.
2. Aldi is possibly the best thing to happen in my life. I cannot believe all my shopping used to be from Tesco, never again.
3. Boxers are so large and cannot be pegged on one of those sock, knicker hangers.
4. It’s absolutely okay to have no idea what you want to do in your life.
5. January is the hardest month for lack of pennies, sad times had by all.
6. The people I work with will be my friends forever and will always hold a dear place in my heart. Even the awful ones.
7. It’s so handy to have someone else to help wash the dishes.
8. Living in a house seems to be a crazy concept for other 22 year olds, especially being near the centre.
9. A ‘barm’, ‘Barm cake’ and ‘teacake’ all mean the same thing but teacakes are also something else with raisins and also with marshmallow and chocolate coated.
10. I will never work as a waitress at Christmas time ever again, it was literal hell.

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet guys! I write so many things in so many places and honestly it’s hard to keep up! My instagram is @beeslimmer21 & my blog is .

Happy Blipping.
