Village After Snow

It has snowed heavily with strong winds all day and the conditions were the same as we dashed out for a quick cross-country ski. Once we were on the move it wasn't too bad and we started to enjoy ourselves, proving the old adage that you have to suck it and see. Mind you the welcome coffee and cake at the end did feel like the rewards of virtue.
