Harlaw Monument.
During the middle ages the barons of the North East fought those from the West Coast on land just outside Inverurie.
There is a monument to mark the battle of 1411, where there was no clear victor. 900 died before they both made a retreat.
I used to call it the 'Tardis' when driving past it on the old A96 when I was a nipper. I last stood here more than 30 years ago.
