Jacobean School

It may be a bitterly cold wind, but the sun is shining and we were able to have a short walk.  We count ourselves very lucky when we see the conditions further north.  
The sign above the door of this (now privately owned) house reads:  "This house was built in 1622.  The free school was founded by Thomas Burbank and Margaret his wife 1587"    Some of our friends recall it still being used as a school in the 1950s.
