A Lovely Day .......

Started the day with a visit to Mum's - the main picture is the view from her back garden. The large house in the distance is Poundon House which during WWII was an SOE base - more here :

After copious amounts  of tea & cake I left & took a slight detour through Marsh Gibbon which is a small village over the boundary into Oxfordshire. See extra.

Back home for lunch then C went off for a hair appointment. Did a few little jobs & then later I plan to cook a small gammon along with some roasties.
