River Deep Mountain High

From some metres away, the surface of the aspen looked ever so smooth. Getting closer, you suddenly realise how unsmooth it really is. Looks like some barren volcanic terrain, with deep valley and crevices and high hills, mountains and volcanoes.

Nature's small wonders - the world is filled with them, if we just stop for a while and look.
