How did someone embroider the car door?

I came across a close-up photograph that I didn't realise I had and this shows that the holes in the metal were obviously painted before the thread or tape was used. At least that's what it looks like to me.


How big was the bronze dog?

I found a hastily taken photograph of the whole statue. Not a good photo, over exposed etc. However, if you look (without the caption) below the lady's left foot you can just see the dog.
