Uh oh!

We headed out towards Ranfurly today but just before Heriot my van got a sore foot and flattened her tyre.

I called Roadside Rescue who came to our aid. Trouble is that nowadays they don't come and change the tyre. Instead they send a tow truck to take you to the nearest repair shop.

That would have been fine, but even though I fully explained what the vehicle was they sent one that was too small. Insurance company complications! Dramas! Fortunately the driver was a crack up and kept us entertained with complaints and stories while he worked out how to get the van on the truck.

He was a winner and eventually we got the van back to Gore where the tyre company made it all better.

Too late for our Ranfurly adventure we headed up the coast instead.
