Managed a whole weekofweekdays of sticking to this week's theme!

Tonight was my ex's last night in Bordeaux. We've become a lot closer recently, maybe because of the fact that he's leaving, so there's less tension, or something. But at the same time, of course it makes it sadder that he's leaving. I do still think the separation will do both of us good though, so we tried to make it a nice evening, having dinner with his friend who came from Leeds with a van, and two regulars from the pub he used to work in. I have to say there was no time for emotions as one of those regulars was a great deal stranger than I had imagined. Little did I expect to have an evening of being addressed as "WOMAN" accompanied by a threateningly outstretched, clawed hand... and many other bizarrities.

Still. I snapped this picture on the way to the pub where I was meeting them. I've walked past this place probably hundreds of times without taking much notice of it. Another example of how taking a picture every day makes everyday things seem more beautiful.
