Morning call......

....clouds traveled through the sky as dawn was breaking, vibrant shades in the east with quieter shades to the west. Birds took flight calling as they witnessed a new day was breaking. A 'toot toot' from a freight train travelling down the line echoed as it passed through each intersection, our small town was starting to stir as the sun began it's journey across the sky.....travel in so many ways.

Wide angle theme is travel.....I was up and managed to just catch the end of this mornings sunrise, it would've been better at the beach but time wasn't on my side this morning. Thanks to Steveng for hosting this month.

Mum and I visited R today, he was on a mission, quite gruff at times and was knocking on the security door for someone to let him out. His walking is unstable but he is very determined, at least he had a smile or two for us today.

Lovely to sit with mum and chat over lunch, a quick visit to the mall and then on to grocery shop in a rather cool supermarket. The day has been cloudy and humid with a few spots of rain which evaporated ever so quickly, 25C
