Broken Hill

We pulled into the pleasant city of Adelaide (named after English King William 4 wife) this morning, had time for a quick walk around town before setting off for the mining town of Broken Hill.
The photo today was taken in late afternoon entertainment at the Palace hotel. No prizes for guessing the film!
These mining towns in the middle of Australia must take a very certain kind of person to live there.
