Ice Jam on the Delaware

The River roads on both sides of the Delaware River, in Trenton NJ and Morrisville PA, were closed on Monday due to the flooding created by this ice jam.

In my (almost) 70years, I’ve seen the Delaware flood over its banks just a few times, but never because of an ice jam that stopped its flow and forced the water up & into neighboring communities.
It’s a new Winter adventure . . . and not nice !
