Loe and Helston

A rather abortive attempt at a walk to the sand spit at Loe when we discovered that the coastal path had washed away. We got very muddy following the detour and never got to the lake. However we sat and watched the huge waves crashing on the beach as we ate lunch and then pressed on to Helston.
This was uninspiring in the blustery showers apart from the large duck pond and the commemorative arch.
Back home we had scones and clotted cream (again) so all's well that ends well!
