The Fruits of a Flower.....

During the holidays, I had the most beautiful Gerbers that were a brilliant red.  When i brought them in for the frost last night, I noticed one of them was looking like a fluffy dandelion, with a few red petals mixed in the fluff.   With very careful inspection, I saw the small, brown seed was connected to a shaft that went to the fluffy white stuff that would carry the seed through the air until it was deposited in the dirt.   I have left the seeds out in the dry air in my home.  After 24 hours, I took the seeds and put them in an envelope.  I will place them in the soil and hope they will germinate.
Today I went to a 3 hour workshop on LR (Lightroom)  We went through 2 modules in, Library and Develop.  While that seems very little, the program is so powerful that it took that long to thoroughly go through Library and demonstrate  the Develop Module.    There was so much there, that by the end of 3 hours (1 10 min break) our head was swimming.
The next workshop is Photoshop.  I have the program, but have never opened it.  I asked if there was anything I could review beforehand.  The instructor said he would send me a review sheet.
All in all the workshop was good....  enough new to try, review of what I knew and do, other choices on how to do, developing a copyright signature that is invisible and won't allow anyone to download it, to personalizing how LR looks for me, to what collections are, how to use them, how to place in sub-collections, and more that escapes me, at the moment.
It has been a really fun day in the retirement world.
