Flat Rocks

A walk in the Flat Rock area of Augusta in the South of Western Australia is always a treat. Today was no exception with wildflowerts in full bloom and a still and warm day.

Flat Rock is just that...a large series of flat rocks running down to the Blackwood River.

This lone paper bark tree survives where most other plants would not have a chance.

The Blackwood River in the background is a favourote spot for fishing and the odd house boat that takes a week or two to travel up and down the river.

This part of the river is part of our morning and evening walk...which is fantastic and always changing
