A trip up to Westminster to see Mary Hawes and talk all things children and families. Mary is an inspirational person who leads, inspires, enthuses and encourages best practice with children, young people and families through teaching, training and modelling good practice. She's great! So it was great to talk, great to listen, and great to eat lunch in the Wash House, opposite Church House. It's a quirky place, full of character, full of characters and full of noise, wonderful!
Tripadvisor reviews include;
“Wonderful place, hard to find”
“The atmosphere is buzzing and although slightly utilitarian it is comfy and clean”
“a nice sense of community and unfussiness”
“the best-kept secret for lunch in Westminster.”
And one that caught my eye ...
“A totally normal cafeteria”
Extra .... Horse Guards Parade in the sun
