Christmas yumminess

There's plenty of this left, well, at least half an 8" round christmas cake, yay!  I wonder if anyone guessed what it was from the thumbnail.

Been a lovely warm sunny Sunday, so warm that we actually went down to the beach in the late afternoon.  Once the sun set, it was cold though (15C), but we were layered up.  Jon joined us as well, which was nice and Mike came down too.

We took down some M&S mulled wine, and warmed it on a stove on the beach. Wish I'd taken some of this cake down to have with it.  

A lovely Sunday indeed.
