Beach volleyball

Portobello's beach volleyball duo were back out on the beach today as L and I headed back from the gym. My ex-college friend P was watching from the Prom wall and he pointed out that one of the guys across the net from the Commonwealth Games pair was the presenter Mike Bushell from BBC Breakfast. Which explained why one of the players was carrying a camera as he played and why there was another guy filming from the back of the court. Lynne and Mel had their place at the Games confirmed last month, with a wild card entry, and earlier in the week were on the news having set up a court in a barn so they can continue to train when the sand at Porty is frozen. The sun was out this afternoon though and hopefully it will make a good piece on the telly.
