Impossible

I am usually pretty conscientious at keeping a check on my gas and electricity meter readings.
Every month my service supplier sends a text reminding me to take reading and send it in so that they can produce a more accurate bill, rather than simply estimating how much gas or electricity I’ve used compared with this time last year. ‘Fraid the cold air has made that impossible to do so far this month. The low temperature and rain have brought condensation to the meter face, making it impossible to read. Frustrating, especially as I know that chilly days and cold nights will inevitably mean I’ve used more gas to keep the boiler feeding the radiators! Am I in for a shock when the bill arrives?
