Steps

New boots. Mud coloured, to save time.
I have very wide feet (they look more like flippers) so finding footwear is difficult.

Another night on the camp bed with Jaffa, who has realised that if she jumps onto the bed I really can’t be bothered to push her off. Nearly a week after she came out of hospital she’s looking so much better - less scrawny and her shaved parts are starting to grow back. All steps in the right direction.
